Save $$ – My last pair of snow pacs were a pair of Lacrosse back 25 years ago. They were made here in USA and were awesome! Naturally after a quarter century of performance I went back to Lacrosse when it came time to replace them only to find the boots they make now are low quality Chinese CRAP. I was disappointed to find the same story with Sorels too. I was willing to chance them but there were too many 1 star reviews on both brands saying “They’re not built to last”. I started looking for boots made in USA and my search came down to Schnees and Hoffman. I almost paid the $130 more for the Schnees for the Goodyear soles they use but decided to go a bit more economical and bought Hoffmans. I was extremely pleased when my boots arrived to see Goodyear stamped on the soles of the Hoffmans as well! They really should list that in the boot features. I am so pleased with these boots! From late season Goose hunts to ice fishing, my feet have never gotten cold. Both of these activities you spend alot of time waiting, not moving and thats when you get cold toes, but not in these boots. I can not recommend them enough!

Great build – Just got my pair.  Great customer service.  The boots are super comfortable, break in on the upper should be minimal.  They feel like they were built exactly for my feet.  Looking forward to a lifetime of use out of them.

Comfortable fit, supportive and warm in below zero temps. – I bought mine in 2020, got the 10″ because I just prefer that height and I have gaiters if the snow is deeper. I walk/hike almost every morning and evening for 30-60 minutes even in winter and these boots are very comfortable walking snowy roads/trails and going over uneven terrain, good ankle support. The coldest I have worn them in was only -9 Fahrenheit for 40 min, but my feet were warm. I wore them deer hunting for about 4 hours in 25 degree temp with very extended periods of sitting and my feet were very comfortable, not much of a cold endurance test but for a gut that gets chilly feet easily I was pleased.
Until I wore these I did not know a winter Pac Boot was so comfortable to walk in compared to the old “snow boots” I had as a kid. These definatley support your arch and ankle.

Super Boots – Just returned from my first trip with these boots to the North Maine Woods deer hunting. We had two storms totaling about 16 inches of snow. I have the 12″ boots and put 400 gram liners in my feet were very warm and give just the right amount of support while traveling skidder roads and through the woods.

Purchased in August 2023 and finally put them to use in November 2023. I’m very impressed with the fit and quality of these boots! Customer service was great and I’m sure these boots will last me years of service in the whitetail woods and around the house. My only complaint are the small lace hooks. The hooks barely fit the laces and can be frustrating when trying to lace up my 14″ boots when they keep slipping out. My other pair of pacs from a different brand has hooks that are double the size of these and its alot easier to lace up.
