A decision was made by Hoffman’s on quality vs. cost of the new rubber bottoms used in the construction of our thinsulate lined Pro-Series winter pacs. After working with many companies and looking at numerous samples, we decided that quality would be our number one criteria. Our imported hand-made waterproof rubber bottoms are constructed with a layer of polyester and polyamid. They are the toughest, most durable bottoms we have and far exceed any other bottom on the market. Our contour leather uppers are made with premium 7-7.5 oz. oil tanned leather cut to fit the curvature of your leg. A removable 200 gram thinsulate/wool liner provides warmth. Heel counters, toe caps and replaceable calks are all standard features.
The leather uppers are hand crafted in Kellogg, Idaho.

A Rating – Hello, I have a set of Thinsulate Logger Caulk boots I bought in 2007. Prior to these boots I was wearing Viberg Half/Half’s but I was wearing them out every six months and Viberg wouldn’t repair half/half’s. I have been extremely happy with the set of Hoffman’s I bought. They are the best quality I have come across in the sixteen years I have been wearing caulk boots on northern Vancouver Island and the Mid Coast of BC (very wet). These boots have been so good that I am considering purchasing a set of hunting boots from Hoffman

Thinsulaet Calk – Good support for rubber pac. Great fit also. Hard as nail rubber bottoms take alot of abuse.

Best Pac – Best calked pac boots I’ve ever used. I have a pair of felt lined White’s, but the soles are too spongy. The only good thing about my White’s is the full gusset tongue. If hoffman started using a full gusset tongue, I would buy another pair. I’ve only had mine for a week, but a coworker has been using theirs all winter and they’ve held up better than my White’s (which are not waterproof!). I also have a pair of regular soled Hoffman pacs that I love, walked through many streams this season without a single leak. You can’t go wrong with Hoffman pacs!

Satisfied – Best pac boots you can buy! I bought a pair back in 2010 and have worn them from oct. to may on the logging job hooking logs, sawing timber, and bucking logs on the landing. I also wear these boots everyday im out hunting during rifle season. Amazing pac boots! very durable!

Probably the best pac boots on the planet. – I have had a pair of the 14″ boots for 6 years, and they are still holding up quite well. I have used them from the Quinault rainforest on WA’s Olympic peninsula, to below -10F in the rocky mountains doing forestry work, and have never been disappointed in these boots. Whether it is soaking wet or sub zero, these boots keep you warm, dry, and upright.
