A mid height mountain boot ideal for work, backpacking or early season hunts where the terrain is both extreme and unforgiving. Hoffman’s contour cushioned insole features our Dual Density PU mid-sole, offering greater stability, comfort and durability. A SympaTex waterproof bootie is added to provide waterproof protection for those unexpected wet days. A 5 1/2 MM Nylon mid-sole provides excellent lateral support while providing the flex needed while making an ascent. The NEW long-wearing Vibram Dolent sole features an alpine tread design with high edging stability for optimally precise footing and self-cleaning tread profile. A protective rubber rand is added to this excellent boot to help protect the leather upper from abrasion. The Summit is an excellent choice for early season hunters, backpacking and also as a work boot for light line work and other task.

Tough Kevlar® filament thread resist fire, cuts, abrasions, and chemicals. The removable moisture-wicking insole footbed prevents foot fatigue until you’ve saved Mother Nature. The Hoffman Woman’s Armor Pro calk boot is the toughest boots we have developed for ladies who work in the woods. This rugged 8 inch mountaineer-style work boot is coated in “stark” material (similar to truck bed lining), which makes it more cut resistant and adds another level of waterproofing to help extend the life of the boot. The one piece vamp eliminates stitching around the foot and the additional waterproof Sympatec membrane helps keep you dry. Replaceable calks in the sole provide outstanding traction on steep and uneven terrain.
Note: Once a boot is calked, Hoffman’s doesn’t warranty the boot to be waterproof.

This material helps to make it more cut resistant and extends the overall life of the boot. The one piece vamp eliminates stitching around the foot and the waterproof Sympatec membrane helps to keep you dry. A sturdy vibram or calked sole helps provide long life and durability.

The large majority of customers are sizing down a full size on this boot.
