Loggers Wear Calk Boot
The Hoffman LW5 pull-on style boot is a tremendous value, featuring an easy on, easy -off boot design while still offering a supportive upper. The durable rubber is a mixture of NBR (Nitrile Butadience) and natural rubber, making the boot very resistant to oils and chemicals, while providing excellent abrasive resistance. The LW5 features 9 layers of polyamide tricod / rubber composition in the front of the boot, providing some chainsaw protection. Other features include an air-cushioned heel and added protection for the Achilles tendon, ankle and metatarsal. NOTE: Although this boot has added chainsaw protection features, it is not certified as a chainsaw-certified boot.

Great Boot – I work on a forest inventory crew in SE Alaska, we travel to some of the most remote areas in the state where cork boots are absolutely mandatory. After trying many leather and pac style boots I decided to try these. They are by far the most comfortable, durable, supportive boots I have ever worn. I will be ordering several pairs just in case they stop making them. My only complaint is that I cannot find them in a regular sole for other uses.

Nice Boot – I took these on a hunt at Etolin island in SE Alaska. They work great and offer traction on steep and muddy alpine areas where other boots my partners used slide.They are also super comfortable for all day use. I use them in Western Washington as well any time I am in the mountains and outside is muddy and wet.

Durable Boot – I have worn many of boots for all different work season in the field. This caulk boot is best lightweight with ankle stability for steep and wet country. Tested true and through the Tongass Backcountry.
