This rugged 6 inch mountaineer hiker is coated in “stark” material (similar to truck bed lining) making it cut resistant, adding another level of waterproofing, and extending the overall life of the boot. Great boot so far! – I have been purchasing boots from Hoffman boots for over 7 years now! I was a big red wing fan. All my hunting boots have been Meindl. When I found that Hoffman boots carried Meindl steel toe work boots. 6″ Meindl Steel Toe Cascade Ground Boot For over 6 years. I made the switch. Just recently I switched work boots to the 6″ Hoffman Composite Toe Armor Pro. I have had them for 6 weeks now! The only complaint is the boot laces are too long for this boot. As we approach the one year mark I will give another review on theses boots.
