10" Armor Pro Calk: Ultimate Durability for the Logging Industry
The 10" Armor Pro Calk is one of the toughest boots ever developed for professional forestry work. By combining the supportive chassis of a mountaineering boot with a high-tech armor coating, this 10-inch version provides the increased protection and stability required for loggers, tree planters, thinners, and foresters working in punishing terrain.
-
"Stark" Armor Coating: The entire exterior is coated in a specialized "stark" material. Similar to a high-grade truck bed liner, this coating makes the boot exceptionally cut-resistant, adds an impenetrable layer of waterproofing, and significantly extends the service life of the leather upper.
-
Mountaineer-Style Support: Built with a rugged mountaineering silhouette, this boot provides the lateral stability and ankle support needed for navigating steep, uneven mountain slopes and debris-heavy forest floors.
-
Logging-Specific Traction: Equipped with high-performance calks, the Armor Pro Calk delivers the aggressive "bite" necessary for secure footing on wet logs, mossy rocks, and slick mud.
-
10-Inch Protection: The extended 10-inch height offers additional shin protection and prevents debris from entering the boot during high-intensity work in thick brush.

These boots fit perfect, built with high quality, comfortable right out of the box, very satisfied with these boots.
I purchased a pair of these two years ago, but not for logging.
I live in Western Oregon and we take our Tioga unit rifle elk season very seriously. In order to get where we're going safely, we need quality footwear capable of withstanding anything, keeping us dry, AND allows us to traverse the steepest and most brutal terrain this state has to offer.
And let me tell ya, these boots are no joke.
They aren't light. Look elsewhere if you're in the market for something flimsy. They kept me dry as a bone, required minimal break-in and kept me safe while skipping across slash and downed trees like a damn woodland fairy. Through every condition and scenario, I was dry and sure footed. As for their use in logging, you people are a different breed, man. Y'all will need these even more than I do. Based on the build quality, I really wouldn't be surprised to find they keep your legs safe if you get nipped by a chainsaw. They really are that tough, and I couldn't ask for more.
Only problem I had was my foot slipping forward juuust a tad while walking downhill, but a quick double stack of heel lock lacing did the trick. No smore slipping.
And if you're on the fence because of the price, think again. How much is your life worth? How valuable are your ankles and legs? How important is it to you that you arrive home to your family safely and in one piece?
Buy these, get out there, and come back safe. You'll be glad you did.
Northern BC/AB forester. Never fails to impress. Would buy again.
