The Trooper Lineman Boot has fast become the boot that lineman associate with comfort and easy break-in. A 7 oz. leather upper, cushioned crepe mid-sole for comfort, and dual steel shanks are added for outstanding climbing support. Your choice of a Vibram or claw sole completes this boot. Available in uninsulated or insulated with 400 gram Thinsulate. Note: The Trooper has a waterproof liner.
Although failure is rare in the waterproof construction of this boot,Hoffman's will not warranty the waterproofness of this boot.

Josh Kessel Easy break in period. Just oiled it up and let it soak even though it didn’t need to. Comfortable ground boot and nice full shank for climbing. I don’t feel my hooks in the arch of my foot while I’m climbing in these.

Jim Green I have been a Hoffman Boots customer for over 20 years. I have owned several different offerings of boots from line boots for work to pack boots for mountain hunting, Hoffman has never let me down. The 10” Trooper Lineman is my boot of choice for whatever line work has in store. They’re comfortable to wear all day( and sometimes all night) whether climbing poles or walking the right of way, they have served me well over the years and will continue to do so in the future. The customer service is outstanding which is rare in today’s world. I would recommend to anyone that is interested in high quality footwear for demanding working conditions or for hunting the high peaks to give Hoffman Boots a call. I don’t believe anyone would be disappointed in any of their products.
